In our research and development path, we are committed to the topic of fuel cells and electrolysers, key devices in hydrogen technology, which are indispensable in the transition to more sustainable energy.
These are sectors that are still in an industrial evolution phase, where the standardization of production processes is far from consolidated — and where automation is starting to play a decisive role.
For example, the fuel cell and electrolyser stacking process is a highly technically complex step, where the requirements for precision, gentleness, repeatability and speed are combined.
The skills acquired by DEMA in complex and highly variable production contexts represent a solid basis for developing, in collaboration with industry partners, tailor-made automation solutions.
In particular, we provide automation-related solutions for:
- Controlled stacking of cells, membranes and plates
- alignment, centering and compaction
- the integration of in-line functional and quality controls.
With a modular, flexible and reliability-oriented approach, we support our customers in transforming still manual steps into automated, repeatable and scalable processes. We work together to bring automation to where it is needed most today: in emerging segments of industry, where standardization is not yet a reality, but an imminent necessity.
